Anchor: A Dream Realized

I still can’t fully articulate what this past weekend meant to me. Having marked dance project premiere Anchor in New York City was a dream come true.

Dreams are powerful because they give us space to explore  the meaning of our lives. I know that my dreams have been supported by so many people–from strangers to family and friends–it truly takes a village to make dreams come true.

I would like to thank Cecly and Six Degrees Dance for allowing my company and I to take part of the performance. It wouldn’t have been possible without the generous donations that were made through our Indiegogo campaign. You literally put your hard earned money into helping my dream come true, no amount of thanks will fully express my deeply rooted gratitude for your investment.

My markers (dancers) truly worked hard and I appreciate them going on this journey with me. We return to the studio in mid August to prepare for YourMove NJ Modern Dance Festival where a revised version of Anchor will be performed.

Looking forward to moving MDP forward as we continue to leave our mark.

With sincere thanks,
